Our steering group has outlined the following guidance around how we want to programme acts and performers:

We want to celebrate and platform local artists. Our commitment is that at least half the acts will be from the West Midlands.

We want to support and celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. We give priority to LGBTQ+ artists. If we book acts who are not LGBTQ+ they must be be active with the local community.

QHP is a public space event attended by people of all ages we ask that performances for the main stage should be suitable for all ages.

Pride is a political space and encourage people to speak freely about their beliefs and issues affecting the community if they want to.

We make a commitment to ensure that the line-up reflects the diverse communities in Kings Heath.

From staging and sound to performers who bring the event to life, putting on Queens Heath Pride takes real resources. We’re a local event run by people who care deeply about the LGBTQIA+ communities in Kings Heath (and beyond!). We rely on the generosity of people like you to make it happen year after year.

Every contribution goes directly towards: the costs of running a safe, welcoming outdoor event, and paying the event staff and performers who make Queens Heath Pride the joyous celebration it is.

Your support means another year of Queens Heath Pride.

If Queens Heath Pride has ever made you feel welcome, seen, or simply given you a brilliant afternoon- please consider giving what you can. No amount is too small, and every donation is deeply appreciated.
